Monkey D. Luffy is also known as “Straw Hat.” In the One Piece series, he is the initial protagonist. In the start of the series, when he unintentionally eats an evil fruit, his body became as stretchable as rubber. This characteristic of his is viewed by Oda to be a silly fighting style, which is advantageous in relaxing the readers whenever the situation becomes complicated.
