The hit Japanese anime series One Piece is back with season 13. The shows was produced by Toei Animation and was directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto. One Piece is based from the manga with the same title written by Eiichiro Oda.

One Piece season 14 revolves around the imprisonment of Portgas D. Ace who is Luffy’s brother. Portgas is held captive in the Impel Down Prison. Luffy tries to infiltrate the prison to save his brother. Luffy meets with old enemies as he tries to save his brother. Some of old enemies that crossed his path includes Buggy the Clown, Mr. 3 and Mr. 2 Bon Clay.

After four episodes featuring the attempt of Luffy to save his brother, the story is shifted to the current plot of the story where Luffy and the gang faces a group of hired pirates. The pirates were hired by Shiki. This line follows the plot of the filming of the One Piece movie which is entitled “One Piece: Strong World”.

The plot of saving Portgas from the prison continues in the following episodes. With several failed attempts to save his brother, Luffy diverted to Marineford to save Ace from getting executed. While in Marineford to help ace, Luffy was caught in a war between the Marines and the Whitebeard pirates.
